The femme fronted band is known for a cinematic style that blends slow burning possession with an undercurrent of ethnic influence.
Meet the band
“Yellow Crane has the distinct ability to create pleasure through all senses. The melodic tones coupled with exceptional technical skill creates an experience leaving you both gutted and inspired.”
- Kaelyn Langer Mendonca, Artist and Co-Founder of
Bleecker St. Playhouse
Dwelling in the spaces between connection and isolation, their music transforms vulnerability, longing and pain into resonant emotional landscapes.
- PvP (Pullman vs Paxton)
Their music feels like running from decaying urban landscapes swallowed by fog and bad decisions. Like headlights cutting through countryside gloom while a weary lead detective narrates what went wrong.
And her voice? It's gorgeous and spooky at the same time. Cinematic without trying.
- Evan Williamson, Showtime Anacortes
What people are saying about Yellow Crane
Our first EP
Enter the sound through three phases that unfold like a full sensory experience. Acid Pool begins in a neon glow with rhythms that feel immersive & intoxicating pulling you into a dreamlike state where emotion leads and direction dissolves. Feed shifts the atmosphere to something darker and more intense layering industrial textures and haunting vocal energy to create a sense of ritual and tension that feels both seductive and unsettling. Museum Tours closes the journey by turning inward walking through memories in rooms where every lyric feels deliberate and exposed. Together the songs move through sensation, confrontation and reflexion, building a cinematic world that is meant to be felt as much as it is heard.
